Face-Grain

Grain Orientation: Face grain refers to the wide, flat surface of a piece of wood. It is the largest and most visible surface when you look at a wooden board.
Durability:  While the Face-Grain is visually appealing, it is generally not as strong as edge grain or end grain. It may be more prone to denting or scratching, depending on the wood used.
Appearance: The face grain displays the natural patterns, colors, and figuring of the wood. It often showcases its unique characteristics.
Maintenance: They require regular oiling to maintain their appearance and prevent drying out.
